he or she be…" also fill in the blank, but here's an example drawn from the Buddhist Metta (Lovingkindness) Prayer where you speak directly to the heart of the individual:
May you be happy.
May you be healthy.
May you be peaceful.
May you be free.

The Radical Virgo Recommends: Say this prayer several times before you meet relatives or friends over the holidays where strained relationships exist between you.
