The Sun
stops what it's doing,
poses before moving onto
give birth to the blooms,
a selfie capturing the turning point.
We gather at Summer Solstice,
the pause that reinvigorates us
before bursting into full flower.
Cusp of Cancer:
the beat before
the final push
to be fully alive.
