Thank you for sharing your Chiron ...Dear Honolulu,

Thank you for sharing your Chiron quest! I am so happy that you found food for thought and maybe some solace from "The Wheel of Heal." The Prometheus part of the myth has always been the most mystifying to me, and it's the puzzle that keeps on giving. I can't help but feel that in its own way, Uranus is part wild centaur, the rebel in us that must be tamed to a degree to find our fit in the world. Or not! For some people, a wild and woolly Uranus may be just the example someone who is more shy needs to be themselves, including to bring out their inner maverick. With such a prominent Chiron, you are allowed a bit of obsession. Surely it points to a life direction that involves healing and/or mentoring in some form. It is so good to connect with others who are moved by the deep symbolism of Chiron's story. Trite sounding but true, it has changed my life, and helped a somewhat flamboyant "weirdo" side of me in my youth to mellow into a quirky unicorn that even conservative types become fond of. It is all about being the bridge for these sides of ourselves, not just for ourselves but a model for others to come to that peace with their divergent parts.

Come back often. Lots on Chiron here.

Take care,
JoyceJoyce Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462878902674014180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-16738484916014890762019-04-01T20:58:25.953-05:002019-04-01T20:58:25.953-05:00I can't believe there are no comments on this ...I can't believe there are no comments on this article! Probably because it is so well articulated that it leaves one speechless ;) I've spent way too much time contemplating Chiron over the years, but here lately I find myself obsessed. I think I'm having an introverted crises of an entirely new flavor and it repeatedly draws my attention back to Chiron, perched exactly atop my chart, begging for me to "figure it out," to unfold the meanings. I can always read the myths over and over, finding new associations and depths, but thank you for the reminder about Prometheus! Something about that struggle/transformation is speaking to me in this moment in a new way, with my own Prometheus (Uranus) directly opposite my Chiron midheaven. I certainly paid a high price for my youthful insistence on following my own torch out of the inherited muck. I am hoping meditating on these themes will help me get the life flowing through these old scars so that I can make out a path again. Thanks for writing this…and shouldering a little of the burden :)Honolulu Wampumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00846436775852897475noreply@blogger.com
