If time and money were no object, I'd be back to school in a heartbeat.

You'll have to hold your Jupiter in Leo just a little longer for #3. I'm still working on it and it won't post till next week. :)

It's good to know it'll be greeted with anticipation--and thanks so much for sharing!

And thanks, also, for being here,
JoyceJoyce Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462878902674014180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-5533289975424437102011-09-08T14:23:55.647-05:002011-09-08T14:23:55.647-05:00I LOVE THIS ARTICLE! Sorry, let me tone down my Jupiter in Leo enthusiasm for wandering (trine Sag ASC) into your article that speaks to me on a deep level (in the 8th house). My entire motivation for doing well in elementary and high school was to reach the promise land of College - this magical place that I heard allows us to explore subjects at a higher level and with more freedom. The actual experience of college didn't meet my great expectations, though. Probably due to my last-minute change in schools.

I loved the learning-the-material part of college but not the red-tape involved in getting my degree (Saturn in the 9th). I would love to return to school for advanced degrees because it shortcuts the proving-my-wisdom part of sharing what I've learned with others who are paper-obsessed, but I'll settle for a self-study program (ruler of 9th trine Moon and Uranus in the 12th house and Jupiter square Uranus) that involves learning from interacting w/ others until work sponsors my higher education (ruler of the 9th in the 8th w/ Jupiter conj. Mercury sextile Mars in Gemini in the 6th).

Thanks for the Jupiter breakdown by sign, Joyce. Very thorough of you and your Jupiter in Scorpio. ;) And NCGR does look like fun.

I'm about to go read parts 2 and 3 now.Jarahttp://www.randomastrology.tumblr.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-42332807485774255632011-09-08T11:42:42.779-05:002011-09-08T11:42:42.779-05:00Hi, Leslee!

A little Neptune would be a nice lighten-up! Mine's also trine Mars, and while everyone tends to think trines are best aspect since sliced bread; they also just keep the energy flowing (pouring) between two planets. So, the Jupiter in Scorpio and Mars in Cancer have a water theme like your Neptune, but they tend to keep me paddling the project canoe till I keel over from exhaustion. LOL! It's really fun to compare notes with people on the different ways these energies manifest. Thanks so much for sharing! I'd say your work is quite Jupiter in Scorpio!

Thanks for stopping by,
JoyceJoyce Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462878902674014180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-72085013290780535442011-09-08T06:57:24.144-05:002011-09-08T06:57:24.144-05:00I guess my Jupiter in Scorpio would be a lot more ...I guess my Jupiter in Scorpio would be a lot more focused were he not conjunct Neptune! (They're in the 3rd, 7 to 5 degrees from the IC.) Otherwise, my Jupiter is exactly sextile my Mercury in Virgo, which are conjunct Venus and Pluto. I work as a medical writer. :-)lesleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09127872882510411387noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-24454563254101954072011-09-03T18:36:36.914-05:002011-09-03T18:36:36.914-05:00Hi, Natalie--

It was like drinking in all that is holy! :) I guess we should both have a good feel for the 9th with Moon in that house! I'm looking forward to hearing what I have to say, because often, it's in the writing itself that my insights are first revealed even to me. Look for the finale next week ... and thoughts for our ongoing learning curve.

I always enjoy your visits here,
JoyceJoyce Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462878902674014180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-6919599810278749982011-09-03T18:25:28.158-05:002011-09-03T18:25:28.158-05:00Ditto on the NN! Jupiter is very strong in my chart - it's in the 3rd conj Chiron, and the focal point of a Kite, opposing a 4 planet stellium in the 9th(including Moon). Phew. I smiled when I read about Jup in Pisces. I always say I learn by osmosis, which means I know a lot of stuff, not always useful, and sometimes just silly - like Clavin in Cheers. My Virgo planets help when I have to do research, but mostly I go by my feelings and instincts even then. Not always wise, but there it is.
I was mostly bored in school. I would be very excited when I got my new books, then I read them all the first week (except the mathbooks ...), and then I had to sit there for the rest of the year. I would daydream a lot. And I was so looking forward to University. We only had two Universities at that time, and I wanted the one farthest away from home! Finally I would be allowed to read what I wanted, and it was such a let down. There was strict curriculums, reading lists, and mandatory classes. It was however a great place to practice writing. Sometimes, if I have a touch of writer's block, I zip up to the University, find a half-emtpy class and sit in the back with my notes. I love the atmosphere, but it took my over 15 yrs to get a degree. I'm looking forward to your take on the 9th!Natalie Normannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02208017892136207261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-31289606688085695632011-09-03T15:40:56.516-05:002011-09-03T15:40:56.516-05:00Hi, msfullroller! In the next post, I'll ask people to look at how their Jupiter and 9th fit their current learning opportunities. For some, it may be an aha to shift modes or an opportunity to confirm being in the optimal environment. Sure, I can include something about the North Node in the next segment. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment--and contribute to the expansion of the next article!

Take care,
JoyceJoyce Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462878902674014180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7881668285026141614.post-60383461926169806222011-09-03T14:57:37.022-05:002011-09-03T14:57:37.022-05:00I'm a Jupiter in Gemini in the 10th house with...I'm a Jupiter in Gemini in the 10th house with my North Node in Taurus in the 9th. Jupiter is at the apex of a t-square, squaring a tight Uranus/Pluto conjunction in the 1st and another tight conjunction of Saturn/Mercury/Chiron in the 7th. Jupiter sextiles my 12th house Leo Moon, trines my 6th house Aquarian Venus and quintiles my 8th house Aries Sun.

I loved school as well and was glad when summer vacation was over. I'm also a life long learner. As much as I love discussions whether group or one on one and seem to need this interaction for learning, I also require time alone to learn and discover(code for mucho trial and error behind the scenes). lol

If it's not to much trouble please include the North Node in your next post.msfullrollerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10386244583766375258noreply@blogger.com
